As an independent family-run opticians with a combined sixty-five years experience, we provide a caring, professional yet personal and friendly service, where every patient is an individual. we test half hourly to allow time for discussion of the examination findings, and for you to ask the optometrist any questions, or voice any concerns about your eyes. Being independent enables us to stock optical products from a wide variety of suppliers, giving you freedom of choice in frames, lenses and contact lenses.
We stock an immense range of frames to suit every taste, including free-on-the-NHS-voucher, complete price packages, buy-one-get-one-free ranges and designer. Within these choices we can cater for traditional designs, funky fashion frames, metals, plastics, rimless, plain or dressy; whatever you fancy. And, refreshingly, we are honest when you ask if something suits you. We understand that you carry our reputation on your face, so we won't sell you a frame that doesn't suit just because it costs three times more than a frame that does.
We offer spectacle lenses to suit every requirements, from basic single vision for the spare pair of reading glasses you keep by the bed, to the very latest varifocals. If your prescription is quite high we can advise you of the best options in thinner and lighter lenses dependent on your facial measurements and your frame.
If you fancy contact lenses, or are an existing wearer, we can supply everything from daily-wear disposables to varifocal design lenses for combined distance and reading use, or colour contact lenses for when you fancy a change of image. All these come with the peace of mind that they are being supplied by qualified experts who can back up their products with after-care and the best advice.
